Attended the game tonight with Christina and Austin.  Despite chill and mist-turning-to-fog, we had a great time.  Mets won 4-3, first win of the season.

Says I, "Lucas Duda warms up for games by beating up Chuck Norris."

I keep meaning to post about the trip we took to Atlantic City a few weeks ago, but never get around to it. I'll do that next. Meanwhile, I had cause to post the following in Peter Heck's group, so I'll repost it here.

Yes, it is finally here!  Opening Day of the 2012 Disabled List Season!  And here come my Mets - the defending champions of the Disabled List League!  Will they achieve the same greatness in Disabled List play as they have in recent seasons?  Only time will tell.

So, my Mets lost the Pennant to the Cards. They took it to seven games, despite missing two of their top pitchers. They kept it a tight race right up until the final out of game seven (down by 2 runs, they had bases loaded with Beltran at the plate -- it seriously could have gone the other way).
